Com.Pact Records is back with the debut album by Bizzare Contact...

Com.Pact Records in Israel releases a lot of upcoming artists. Bizzare Contact (Kfir Lankry and Didi Ezra) has released a few tracks on various full on compilations. Now they are out with their debut album called Plastic Fantastic. The cover art this time is pretty funny, with some kind of cartoon drawing of Kfir and Didi playing, and inside the cover there is a drawing of a party on a field outside a city.

5. Plastic Fantastic
6. Twisted
7. Can’t Stop
8. RT Shock

The first track starts slowly with an up building groove. Then the massive bass line starts rolling. Very typical Israeli full on trance. After a while, a little twisted melody jumps in, and the sound becomes a bit more clubby. This melody follows the track to the end, but we also get some melancholic choir in there. Track 2 starts really clubby. In my opinion this sounds a bit too cheesy, but when the full on groove starts rolling again, things get better. We get a few twisted psychedelic sounds jumping in and out, and the beats are heavy and powerful. After a while this cheesy, happy melody comes back and sort of ruins it. Things get a little bit better in track 3. Here they have put away the most cheesy melodies, and added more groovy style. Reminds me a bit of some of the tracks by Alien Project. The melodies you get here are much better, but it becomes a bit soft here also at the end. When we reach track 4, most of the cheese is gone, and things starts to get a little bit deeper. This track is drifting full on, with some pretty cool melodies. Stumping from start to finish, except for a couple of small breaks.

Track 5 has the album title. The bass line we get here is pretty deep and groovy as hell. The most drifting track on this album. Track 6 goes darker and more hard banging. Pumping, intense bass line with several jumpy sounds above. A fast track with some small crazy melodies here and there. Track 7 slows down a little bit. This one has a more stumpy bass line, still very groovy and with some jumpy voice samples and sounds above. After a while, we also get some pretty fluffy melodies. Track 8 starts with a nice melody. The bass line we get in this one is also on the drifting side. This is my favourite track on this album. We get some nice floating vibes in there too. Perfect for sunrise. The last track on this album has a totally pumping bass line. Pretty intense track. The melody you get here is a bit too much on the clubby side for my taste.

Bizzare Contact has definitely more clubby sound than I expected. Very typical full on trance from Israel, and a bit different from most of the Com.Pact releases, which I think use to be a bit deeper than this.
