	| Review by PKS A new Mexican group releases their first CD single on Balloonia Records...
 |

	| Balloonia Records is a division of Alien News label group (Hadshot). Now they are out with their first CD single, which is by a group called Ecliptic (Raul Mejia and Carlos Navarro). Ecliptic is a fresh upcoming group from Mexico.

Ecliptic “Ecliptic” Balloonia Records 2003 (BALLMCD01)

 1. Agua
 2. Magic Land
 3. Burning
 4. Anular

The first track is a pretty slow going, stumpy track. Minimal trance but with a few psychedelic sounds jumping in and out. Track 2 is a bit faster, still stumpy and minimal. The rhythms are very deep and groovy and the sounds are mostly very dark. Not much melody to be found here. Track 3 is a bit more full on, with heavier rhythms and more full on psychedelic sounds. Best track on this CD single. The last track we get here has a groovy pumping rhythm, but it is pretty minimal.

This CD single didn’t impress me much. Track 3 is pretty good, but the rest become easily boring in my ears.
