Ajuca Records based in the UK is out with their second full on compilation, this time compiled by Madcap (Jamie Robinson) from the UK and Haze (Chronicle) from Sweden.

1. Z-Man – In Da Mix
2. Echotek – 10 High
3. Zen Mechanics – Orbital Candy
4. Perplex Vs. Skulptor – Take Me Away
5. Kybalion – Crazy Creatures
6. Chronicle – Saxy Muuua Funker
7. Mukunga Umbura – After Touch
8. Unlimit Head – It’s Over
9. V-Storm – Visual Soundz
10. Zion – Dik Onkey
11. Superstring – Superstrings (Eskimo & Madcap Rmx)

First out is Z-Man (Jonas Bergvall) from Sweden who is most known for being part of Logic Bomb. Z-Man is his solo project. The track we get here has a little bit of the Logic Bomb drift, but has a more clubby sound with several vocal samples etc. Track 2 is by Echotek (Misha Yossef) from Israel, also known as Reflex. He gives us a quite massive track going somewhere between progressive and full on trance. One of my favourite tracks on this compilation with a trippy, drifting vibe. Track 3 is by Zen Mechanics (Wouter Thomassen) from Holland who has released tracks on several compilations lately. This one goes a bit darker, with a deep, pumping drift. The sounds in this one is nice and psychedelic and the drift is trippy as hell. Nice to hear such a deep full on track without all the usual clubby ingredients. The best track on this compilation and for sure my favourite track here. Track 4 is a collaboration between Perplex (Ronen Dahan) and Skulptor (Lipe Forbes) . They give us a groovy morning trance track with several ethnic vocal samples and some relaxed floating parts. Then we get a track by a fresh new duo from Australia called Kybalion (Fred & Albin Nikolic). They give is a very pumping, full on track with some trippy, jumpy sounds which are pretty cool. Suits good for the night. One of my favourite tracks on this compilation.

Track 6 is by a new artist called Chronicle, which is a project by dj Haze (Hasse Janson) from Sweden, who is one of the guys that compiled this CD. He gives us a track bubbling of sounds, but I miss a little bit more groove in this one. We get some jazzy influences here though, which lightens it up a little. Track 7 is by Mukunga Umbura (Gil Mahadeva) from Brazil, now based in the UK, who has released an album (Secret Vision) on Inpsyde Media in 2003. Here we get a stumping full on track without very much variation. Track 8 is a new side project by Israeli Doopler Dooper (Itamar Gavrieli & Nave Elia), here called Unlimit Head. Israeli full on, but without becoming too fluffy. Still, not among my favourite tracks on this compilation. Track 9 is by another fresh, new artist called V-Storm (Victor Leti). This track has some kind of dramatic vibe, but doesn’t sound very creative. Rolling, heavy, full on bassline, but not a very interesting track in my ears. Track 10 is by Zion (Hagai Assouline) who has several releases on various full on labels, including an album (Epic) on Tribal Records in 2004. This track has some crazy sounds but doesn’t sound too interesting. The last track on this compilation is by a new artist from the UK called Superstring (Josh Butler), but here we get a remix of one of his tracks done by Eskimo (Junya) and Madcap (J. Robinson). Quite funky, melodic track that for sure will make some fun on full on dancefloors worldwide this summer.

This compilation has some quite well known full on artists and some fresh new ones. I really enjoy some of the tracks, especially those by Zen Mechanics, Kybalion and Echotek, and some of these tracks are more average full on tracks.
